The much awaited LG GW 820, previously announced by the name Monaco, has finally been launched by AT&T. The LG GW 820 eXpo is a Windows Mobile 6.5 phone with Wi-Fi compatibility and a 5.0 mega pixel auto focus camera with flash.

The LG GW 820 eXpo is expected to catch the attention of business executives looking for a functionally versatile yet sophisticated mobile phone, which could meet both their personal and professional needs. The slider QWERTY keyboard of the LG GW 820 allows them to edit documents and compose email messages as easily as they could carry out instant messaging.

Other important features of the phone include a 3.2” touch screen, built-in GPS, a micro SD slot card with an extendable memory up to 16 GB and 3G with HSDPA of 7.2MBps. The slim design of the phone, which is just a little over a half inch thick and 4.4 inch long, is very convenient to move around with.

One of the most impressive features of the phone is the Smart Sensor, from AuthenTec, the world’s leading biometric software developers, which allows you to encrypt the access of the phone with the touch of your fingertip, saving you the trouble of using and remembering passwords.

Like the Samsung i7410, the LG GW 820 features a pico projector, which allows you to display PowerPoint presentations, video montages and image slideshows right from your mobile phone.

You can find the LG GW 820 eXpo on the shelves from December 7, on a 2 year contract for US $69.99 a month, which will help you save no less than $299.99 from the original one-time price, apart from the $100 worth mail-in rebate in the shape of an AT&T Promotion Card.

In addition to the phone, you can also find the LG mobile projector as an accessory in a few weeks for not more than $180.
