LG GW620 to Appear in French Markets in November

LG GW620The debut Android set of LG is expected to appear in France in the month of November. The official confirmation of the LG GW620 which took place in mid September 2009, had hinted that the release of the smartphone will take place by the end of the current year in selected European markets, so it is not odd if LG unleashes the GW620 to the French mobile phone consumers. After that, surely it will be a matter of days before the set is released in the UK.

According to AndroidGuys.com, the phone will appear in France after the end of October and the unlocked version of the phone will be available for €450, which many people feel is a much higher price than expected for a phone with a 256 color display. What seems to be impressive about the set is first of all the Android platform, its attractive design, the availability of Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity modes and a very impressive 5.0 mega pixel digital camera with LED flash, auto focus, face detection and image stabilizer feature and video recording capacity at 30 frames per second. Along with all the internet based benefits of the Android phase, the smartphone also features impressive network connectivity modes such as Wi-FI, 3G, EDGE, GPRS and GSM.

The LG GW620 smartphone offers a 3” TFT resistive touch screen with an Android 1.5 interface, and a blue slider QWERTY keyboard against its main body in black. The phone is being rated a little lower than other smartphones due to its low color resolution of 320 x 480 pixels, and is also expected to be priced accordingly as an entry level Android smartphone. Although the price is not confirmed yet, the site also says that it could be available on monthly LG GW620 contracts of as low as €69 per month.
